No. The Codex uses Midjourney because it's currently the strongest visual AI tool available. But the frameworks inside are about visual storytelling, world building, and creative direction. These principles work regardless of what tool you use today or what tool replaces it tomorrow. If you're an art director, filmmaker, creative director, or brand builder, this is for you.
Yes. The Codex isn't a software manual. It teaches you how to think about building visual worlds, something that applies whether you're directing a shoot, building a brand identity, or learning generative AI for the first time. The mental frameworks come first. The tools are just how you execute.
No. You'll find references and examples inside, but the Codex is built around fundamentals: the principles underneath the prompts. Prompt lists expire. Frameworks don't.
Anyone building a visual presence. Art directors, filmmakers, creative directors, brand builders, developers, founders. If you're creating content, building a personal brand, or shaping how something looks and feels online, the Codex gives you the frameworks to do it with intention. You don't need design experience. You need a system.
Each version represents an evolution in approach. V1 introduced the methodology. V2 expanded the toolkit. V3 strips everything back to fundamentals: the 14 core principles that make world building work, organized into Foundation, Craft, and Direction. Start with V3.
Because paywalling knowledge never made sense to me. The Codex represents months of work per version, research, experimentation, writing, and iteration. But that process is also how I grow as a creative, and sharing that growth is part of the point. I want people to have access to frameworks that actually make them better, not gatekeep them behind a price tag. That said, I am building a set of paid products to support creatives further along the journey. The Codex is the foundation. What comes next goes deeper.
